Celebrate 2019 with Heroic Music for Brass & Organ on Sunday, January 20, 4pm at Trinity Episcopal Church, in Newtown, Connecticut and again at St. John’s Episcopal in Waterbury, Connecticut, Sunday, January 27 at 4pm. Unique in the program, the professional ensemble will showcase a New England premiere of work created by Douglas Hedwig. The concert to explore the power and majesty achieved by the combination of some of the finest brass and percussion instrumentalists of our area. Maestro Leif Bjaland leads members of the WSO in ensemble and solo works for brass and organ, with guest organist Matthew Daley.
